FAQs
Question: What happens if it’s raining or particularly bad weather on the day of the booking?
Answer: If the weather is forecasted to be severe we will call you the evening before the date of hire and advise you of your options and our position. The options available to you will completely depend on the equipment selected and your type of booking. For safety and insurance purposes we would advise and cannot provide inflatables for outside use in adverse weather i.e. strong winds up to 24mph max.
Question: How much notice do I need to give to book a product?
Answer: As much notice as possible. During the height of summer we take bookings well in advance so let us know as soon as you have a date in mind and have chosen your castle so as to avoid disappointment. We will always do our best to accommodate you. Bank holidays and months of December and the Easter period are also popular times for all of our products, so please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

Answer: Each product has different hight and limits. Please note children's castles should never be used by adults. A adult castles can be used by both children and adults.

Each bouncy castle is supplied with a source of power, a method of securing the castle and safety mats. Please note space will be required to ensure the castle is safely set up and secured. This will require a minimum of 1.2m either side of the castle and an additional 3.5 minimum at the front and rear of the castle. This information is subject to the equipment selected, i.e. castles with slides will be slightly different.
Question: Will I require electricity output? How is it powered? How much does it use?
Answer: A supply of electricity will be required for all inflatable bookings. We only require a normal electric socket (general house hold three-pin socket) within 40ft of where you want to put the bouncy castle. We will bring extension leads with us.

Question: Are your units safe? Will you teach me how to have a safe day of fun?
Answer: Yes, unlike other operators all our Bouncy Castles are safety certified, meaning that they have been engineered and tested to the highest possible safety standards according to British Health and Safety Executive guidelines. Our service is also covered by £5m of public liability insurance. A member of A1 Jump & Bounce will also run through a full set of safety instructions when we set up, which includes guidelines like the maximum number of users on the Bouncy Castle at once and a maximum age of users etc. These can also be found attached to each inflatable.
Question: My garden slopes a bit - will that be OK?
Answer: Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. If the slope is more than a little, we may not be able to set up in that location. A member staff may request an alternate location so please have one in mind. Remember, safety is our optimum priority.
Question: What time do you deliver and pick up the bouncy castle?
Answer: Delivery and collection times vary according to a number of factors: your requirements, day light hours, season, busyness of the company and availability of staff. Times vary so indoor (venue) bookings and outside bookings can be catered for. As a standard delivery times start from 8am and aim to have all bookings set up by 12pm in the height of the season, unless stated otherwise, enabling plenty of time for set up of your party. Times vary as the winter months set in. We will collect it sometime from 5pm onwards (the same day) unless specified otherwise. We can also cater for hall bookings that is no problem. The latest time we will contract to collect a bouncy castle is 6pm but can start collecting outdoors from 5 onwards, if that’s too early we offer up the later pick ups at just £10 additional charge.
Question: Can I keep the bouncy castle overnight?
Answer: At a extra cost if we think our equipment will be safe.
